About

Jimmy Lai's imprisonment in Hong Kong for his journalism raises a question about what belongs in a short clip and what doesn't. You are deciding which moments from his story matter most to viewers who may know nothing about him, which details ground the narrative and which ones distract from it, and whether to lead with his personal situation or with the principle he fought for. The material asks you to think about how much context a social clip can carry, what a viewer needs to understand the stakes, and how to make a case for someone's freedom in the time you have.

People investigating cryptocurrency, market movements, macroeconomic trends and the psychology behind investment decisions are the ones this content serves. Your task is to find moments in livestreams, podcast episodes and long-form videos that will work as standalone vertical clips, then decide whether each excerpt stands on its own or needs context to make sense. You are choosing material from a research-focused crypto brand, so look for passages where the speaker explains something substantive rather than simply reacting. Check the submission guidelines carefully before you upload anything.
